Chancel Choir (First's Adult Choir)

The Chancel Choir is open to any adult and is led by Director, Kathleen Schaffer. Adults of any age are welcome to sing with us.  The ability to read music is helpful, but not required.  Our Choir members come from diverse backgrounds and musical experiences.  The Choir sings a wide variety of music and ministers in both of our Sanctuary worship services. This group rehearses on Thursdays at 7 pm in the music room.

   Calling all men - join us as we pull together a rousing rendition of "Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior" for Sunday, September 7th in both the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services.

  You can click on the song title to listen to a demo - our arrangement is for all men, but the demo choir is mixed (with sopranos and altos, too).

We'll get together to go over the song during three FIFTEEN MINUTE REHEARSALS, from 9:45 to 10:00 in the Sanctuary on Sundays August 24 and 31.  Since the rehearsals will be short, please be there on time.  August 31 is Labor Day weekend, so we may re-schedule that for a weeknight to catch any of you guys that may be out camping or being beach bums that weekend!   Stay tuned for more information.
