On July 21 the FUMC team will be departing from Los Angeles for a two-week mission to Tonga, in the South Pacific. The mission team will be doing medical and dental care, repairs and construction, after school programs, and elderly care on one of the remote islands in the Kingdom of Tonga.  The mission focuses on support of an elementary school, a local clinic, and the local Wesleyan church; as well as a regional hospital.  We are privileged to share hope along with medical attention, bring inspiration to the local teachers, nurses, and doctors, and spread joy with the children

Thanks to the generosity of the people of FUMC our mission team will be able to provide medical and dental services to a remote island area, children’s VBS, and church and school.  Please pray for the mission trip:  safe travel, good health for everyone, that God will use this mission to further His purposes and glory.  We can still take medical items like pain relievers, bandages, etc. especially for infants and children.  These items can be dropped off at the church office.
